In Alevi thought and based on the teachings of the Quran and the prophetic view, the progress and evolution of the society, especially in the political field, is based on the religion, the people, and respecting the mutual rights of the people and the officials. This shows the great importance of religious democracy in Nahjul Balagha. The purpose of this research is to explain and analyze the relationship between religious democracy and the theological foundations of Nahj al-Balagha and examine its educational consequences. This research has been done by descriptive-analytical method using library resources and fiche writing tool. The innovation of this research lies in the comprehensive examination of the theological foundations of Amirul Momineen Ali (AS) and its connection with the principles of religious democracy, as well as reflection on the educational consequences of this theory. The results show that religious democracy originates from the foundations of Islam and its certain principles such as value-oriented, right-oriented, legalism, satisfaction, justice-oriented, public participation and wide and deep communication between people and officials are all the fruits of these knowledge bases. The theological foundations of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (a.s.), including monotheism, prophethood, imamate, and even resurrection, introduce people as God's caliphs on earth. The ethics and politics of Hazrat Ali (AS), which is based on divine ethics, is a manifestation of justice and divine attributes of mercy and compassion, and it is fully evident in his management. For future research, it is suggested to conduct a more detailed investigation on the role of religious democracy in contemporary management and its comparison with other governance models. Also, studying the educational effects of this theory on different Islamic societies can contribute to a deeper understanding of this issue.
